Rail Infrastructure

Abergeldie’s complex  rail project capabilities include earthworks, rock cutting and embankments, bridges, and complete railway station upgrades including stair and lift installations.

Typical of our work was the recent Erskineville Rail Bridge project for Railcorp (NSW).  The demolition of an old brick-arched bridge and construction of new road and pedestrian access over a six track live line in inner city Sydney required expert design, construction, safety and traffic management. Abergeldie’s specialisation in complex infrastructure was integral to the safe and successful completion of the project without interfering with continuous rail operations, and with minimal inconvenience to the local community.
