Rail

Australia's growing population, geographical size and vehicle congestion on our road network has lead to a greater dependency on rail infrastructure for both freight and commuter transportation.
Abergeldie has carried out complex rail works including the construction of railway bridges and underpasses on live lines and a complete railway station upgrade to meet DDA compliance regulations (QLD). Typical of our work was the Erskineville Rail Bridge recently constructed for Railcorp (NSW). The demolition and reconstruction of the bridge over a 6 track live line in inner city Sydney required complex design, construction, safety and traffic management. Abergeldie’s specialisation in complex infrastructure was integral to the safe and successful completion of this project with as minimal disruption to the surrounding community as possible.
Our aim is to provide quality ongoing improvements to our rail infrastructure.


	Abergeldie Newcastle Abergeldie has a second base in NSW with an office in Newcastle; located at 1/16 Huntingdale Drive, Thornton. We are proud to assist in the growth of the Hunter Region. New Blind Bore Drill Rig Abergeldie Mining's new drill rig is nearing completion. It's capabilities will surpass our previous rigs and will be the most advanced rig of it's kind in the world. 2009 NSW CCF Awards Abergeldie wins three categories in the NSW Civil Contractors Federation's 2009 Hitachi Earth Awards. Category 1 - Hazelbrook Bridge, Category 2 - Erskineville Railway Overbridge and Category 4 - BHP Dendrobium Mine Ventillation Shafts New Mackay Office Abergeldie announce the opening of a second Queensland office. The MacKay office will be operational before the end of 2009 and will encompass complex Mining, Process and Civil infrastructure. Canberra, We're here to stay The new Canberra Office is located at Unit 1, 92 Hoskins Street, Mitchell. We've enjoyed the last two years and don't want to leave so..we've taken up permenant residence.
